Bath Royale's "Simplfied Mounting Hardware" consists of 2 stainless steel screws (1/4 x 20 thread) and 2 cone-shaped gray split wing nuts. When installed and properly tightened, the wing nut works on a wedge principal and are highly effective in holding a seat firmly in place.
Tips:
- DO NOT turn the wing nuts. Tighten from the top with a screwdriver.
- Self-holding Design - The large wing is designed to catch the side of the toilet bowl and prevent turning. This makes installation easier, enabling installer to tighen from the top withoug holding the wing nut beneath.
- Don't worry about cracking your toilet bowl. The screws can (and should) be tightened very firmly.
